The Queens with its cosy interior and charming garden offers a wide selection of fine wines, cocktails and local craft beers alongside a varied menu of pub classics and modern dishes. Located off the high street it is the first pub you will get to within five minutes when walking to the village centre from Oak Barn.

The Pelican is a popular village pub and restaurant on Chew Magna's high street, offering delicious seasonal food, real ales, fine wines, cocktails and spirits in a cosy, modern bar and dining area. The sheltered courtyard beer garden can be enjoyed all year round.  The 'Pelly', as it is affectionately referred to by the locals, is a seven minute walk from Oak barn.

The Bear & Swan is another well liked village pub and restaurant on the high street with a warm and cosy atmosphere. Woodfired sourdough pizzas and drinks from a garden bar can be enjoyed in a heated marquee in the court yard at the rear of the pub. 'The Bear' is a seven minute walk from Oak Barn.

Moondance Café is a family and pet friendly café in the heart of Chew Magna, offering delicious breakfasts, fresh sandwiches, a delicious selection of cakes and other light bites. All food is sourced locally and prepared onsite. The café is a seven minute walk from Oak Barn.

The Pony, formerly known as The Pony & Trap, is a fine dining restaurant, event venue and cookery school, offering seasonal produce from their own country garden. The Pony is a 40 minute walk along a country lane or five minute drive from Oak barn.
Salt and Malt is an award winning fish and chip restaurant and takeaway, overlooking the picturesque Chew Valley Lake. It is a ten minute drive or 40 to 50 minute walk along a lovely country lane from Oak Barn.

The Woodford Lakeside Food is a family run restaurant offering homemade breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea in a tranquil setting and with stunning views of Chew Valley Lake, which make this restaurant the ideal choice for alfresco dining in spring and summer time. From Oak Barn it is a ten minute drive or 50 to 60 minute walk along a country lane and across the lake's dam.

The Druid's Arms is a charming country inn situated next to Stanton Drew's prehistoric Stone Circles. Serving good food and an array of drinks within a cosy and welcoming atmosphere, this pub is a 35 minute walk or five minute car journey from Oak Barn.
